Uniglobe Book Talk 2078
Department of English and Communication organized ‘Book Talk’ program in collaboration with ECA department and UGSS Book Club. The program is essentially a co-curricular activity and has been organized annually as a calendar event. The program began as soon as the respected principal, Mr. Ashok Kumar Choudhary, chair of the event welcomed the guests Prof. Dr. Jib Lal Sapkota and Dr. Dev Raj Paneru with ‘Khada’ and formally inaugurated the session with his welcome speech. Special guest of the event Dr. Dev Raj Paneru giving insights on why reading is important, highlighted the benefits of intensive reading. All 12 participants who were selected from the audition round gave their gauging presentation on their favorite books. Giving remarks, the guest of honour Prof. Dr. Jib Lal Sapkota applauded the participants for their commendable presentation and suggested the department to publish ‘Book Review Journal’ for academic appraisal. The programme was jointly hosted by Ms. Surangana Rijal, president of Book Club and Ms. Goon Banshal, club vice-president.
