Parents/Guardians Meeting 2073
Parents/Guardians Meeting 2073 was held on 17 & 18 Mangsir for two days as per the annual academic calendar. The meeting was witnessed by the parents of Science (Friday & Saturday) and Management (Saturday) with the single purpose to create academic environment for the students. The meeting was hosted by the Program Coordinator of Management, Mr. Ganesh Datt Bhatt.
The Program Director, Mr. Ashok Kumar Choudhary shed lights on the entire academic plans to prepare students for effective learning. He also stressed on the use of Management Information System (MIS) of the college. He suggested the parents to stay informed about the students daily academic activities, regularities and progress via MIS.
The college had invited two psychologists and counselors for counselling on parenting Dr. Narendra Singh Thagunna and Mr. Binod Poudel. According to the experts, parenting teenagers can be challenging and many parents find it hard to adapt to changes in their child's behaviour as they grow up. Understanding their role in the family and what happens when things change can be hard for teenagers so it is important for parents to initiate and help them to take decisions. Issues can arise for students at school or home, but they may not always come to teachers or parents for advice. Teachers and parents should know how to deal with them.
The parents provided with the feedback in the meeting and highly appreciated the efforts made by the college for cascading quality and techno-friendly education. After the interaction with the parents, the Principal, Dr. Karan Singh Thagunna highlighted the essence of such meetings to create environment for students' welfare. He underscored that good parenthood as the robust beginning for children to aspire for a better tomorrow and suggested to cooperate with the college administration to minimize any gaps seen between all the stakeholders of education.
