Mr. Bimal Prasad Dhakal represents the Board of Directors from the Nepal Life Insurance. He is a Law professional and holds qualification as an advocate from Nepal Bar Council and is a Master in Law. He has more than 25 years of experience in field of law and governance. He has served in various capacities like advocate in the Supreme court of Nepal, Secretary of Appeal court Bar Association, Member of central Executive Council of Bar Association, Member of Judicial Transparency Promotion Committee, Member of Commercial law committee and Member secretary of Telecommunication law committee.
His corporate experience has been associated with companies like united Telecom Limited (A JV of MTNL, TCIL, Tata Communication, NVPL), Air Dynasty -Heli services Pvt Ltd, World Bank, Asian development bank, Nepal Telecommunication authority and Bank of Asia.
Over his tenure he also conducted various trainings, seminar and workshops in the areas like National Strategy on Sustainable Development, Trans-boundary water sharing between India and Nepal, South Asia water forum which has enabled him to impart his knowledge and skills. He holds vast experience in telecommunication industry.
He is currently on the Board of Nepal Life and contributing his vast experience in the field of law and governance as the industry is being regulated by the government.

Mr. Amit Kumar Keyal represents the Board of Directors from the Nepal Life Insurance. Prior to this, he had been working in the company as Head of “Business Strategy & Transformation Department”. He is a Chartered Accountant & Finance Professional with around 15 years of experience in Growth Strategy, Business planning & Business expansion roles in various diversified markets in India, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Nepal.
He has large experience in working with Promoters, Board of Directors & Senior Management team on various projects which has helped him expose towards areas like E-commerce startup, Board Advisory Group, Mergers & Acquisitions transactions, Corporate Finance, Business Restructuring, and Planning, Digital Transformation Strategy, Business Process Automation, Corporate Governance and Business Expansion strategy (Organic & Inorganic).
His previous stints were with large billion-dollar conglomerates like Tata Steel (India & Europe), Landmark Group (Dubai) & Pernod Ricard (India) whereby he has contributed through various recommendations and enabled the board & the management to make informed decisions that added value to all the stakeholders keeping in the company’s vision and mission at the core. Currently, he is responsible for strategic decisions within the company which cover areas like financial management, operational management of each value chain of the company & digital transformations.
